
KODI (XBMC) Version 17 & Up Tutorial
Step 1: Open Kodi and select “TV.”
Step 2: Select “Enter add-on browser.”
Step 3: Choose “PVR IPTV Simple Client.”
Step 4: Click on “Configure.”
Step 5: Select “General.”
Step 6: If you have a URL for your M3U list, set “Location” to “Remote Path (Internet Address).”
Step 7: Then, select “M3U Play List URL.”
Step 8: Enter the URL of your M3U Play List and select OK.
Step 9: If you have an M3U text file stored locally on your network/computer/box, set the “Location” to “Local Path (include Local Network).”
Step 10: Select “M3U Play List URL.”
Step 11: Navigate to where the file is stored and select it.
Step 12: Select OK.
Step 13: Select Enable.
Step 14: Wait for notification of channels to load.
Step 15: Now, when you go back to the Home Screen and select TV, it should look like this.
If you use KODI 17 or higher:
Step 16: Open Kodi.
Step 17: Select SYSTEM.
Step 18: Select TV (or Live TV if you are on a version lower than 15.2, and if you are, then consider updating).
Step 19: Select General.
Step 20: Select Enabled. You will now see a pop-up saying that you have no PVR Client enabled.
Step 21: Select OK.
Step 22: Scroll down and select PVR IPTV Simple Client.
Step 23: Select Enable.
Step 24: Select Configure.
Step 25: In General, select M3U Play List URL.
Step 26: Add your M3U URL into the address section.
Step 27: Select OK.
Step 28: Select OK again.
Step 29: Reboot Kodi.
Step 30: On your Home Screen, you should now see TV (or Live TV if on an older version of Kodi).
Step 31: Open that to see the live channel list. The list should look like this.
Step 32: Select a channel for it to load and play.
